Gabriel Groisman was elected to the Children's Tumor Foundation's national board of directors.  The Children's Tumor Foundation is a 501(c)(3) which was founded in 1978 and is dedicated to finding a cure for Neurofibromatosis (NF).  NF is genetic disorder that affects 1 in every 3,000 individuals. It causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body and can lead to deafness, blindness, disfigurement, bone abnormalities, learning disabilities, disabling pain, and cancer.  NF occurs in all populations equally, and there is not YET a cure.
